Passive pickups in EMG 808 route?

Would there be anyway to fit a set of Painkillers into the route for a EMG 808? I'm thinking about buying an Agile Septor 830, but it comes with EMG 808's which I'm not a huge fan of. Would it be possible to find an empty housing for an Extended range bass pickup and fit the painkiller underneath?

a lot of people were doing this with 7s so I guess 8s will be out there too,. I think the 7 ones were called 35hz housings.

It might be worth emailing BKP though as they do EMG sized 7 string pickups. I Imagine 8s will be in the works and could even be close to completion.

Yep, asking is in order. I do believe to recall them saying that they were working on it a couple of months back, so Iīd imagine a lot of progress to be made. How far out it still is...canīt tell, but I would imagine not much.
