Les Paul pickup suggestions

Hello all.

I was thinking about changing the pickups in my 2013 les Paul standard. The guitar has gibson burstbucker pro pups in it with the all connector circuit board in the control cavity. All the volumes and tones are push pulls. 2 for splitting the coils, 1 for the Peter green mod and the other bypasses the circuit and sends the bridge pup straight to the jack.

I generally like the tone of the burstbuckers. I like the bite they have, but they can some times sound a bit harsh at some amp settings.

Also I'm going to be changing the guitar to be hard wired instead of the circuit board and done in 50's wiring.

What pickups would you guys say are closest to the burstbuckers. Like I say , I like the bite the stock pups have. But want a bit of BKP Magic in the guitar. As my prs single cut has an emerald set in and that guitar sounds amazing now.

I prefered the burstbuckers to the 57' classics that Gibson use. As I find them more versatile. Although I do like the throaty sound of the 57's.

I was thinking of a mule set or a black dog set. I don't want the output too high as I like the amp to do the work/distortion!  I also use the volume controls to get my clean sounds. I use both an orange or100 and a badcat hot cat 30 head as my amps of choice and I'm mainly into rock and blues. Nothing heavier than hard rock though. I'm not really a metal player.

Mule set with '50s wiring should be really nice.

Definitely Mules. They are fabulous 59 PAF-replica's with a good balance, almost 3D cleans and capable of handling loads of gain. The tonespectrum is balanced, they have bite, but don't sound shrill in any way. I specially love the neckpickup, which is one of the best BKP's I tried. But bridge and neck together is a chimey, yet fullsounging treat. Great for fingerpicking too. Mules will sound excellent on your amps. I have a Rockerverb and my Mules-loaded Saint Blues Mississippi Bluesmaster sounds greats thru it. Bonamassa no problem!
