Rack and Roll madness
« on: March 06, 2015, 06:17:27 PM »
Been rearranging my rack systems and tidying up the ones in the "studio"

My 1980s "rock and metal" rack.
Wondering if there is a way to make space for a Lexicon PCM42 and as TC Electronic 2290 in there.
Could be loaned out in the case of a Dokken/Winger/White Lion surprise gig

The more modern rack (not an Axe-FX or Kemper modern...although I'd love a Kemper)

Both together.....

Note - this isn't for live use....and not to be used at the same time .
I will have it so that you can just choose which amp to plug into and play - and record out via the Torpedo live if you want
And do a bit of final tweaking with the graphic should you desire.
I may have a couple linked via an A/B or A/B/C switcher should my playing tastes require but usually I can afford to just channel switch within the same preamp  during a playing session.

It's like a petrolhead having a garage full of the best road cars all fuelled up and ready to go.
One day he fancies taking the Porsche out - no problem
The next day it's the Ferrari ...again no problem

Zilla Cabs made the rack cases by the way, and the tan western covering matches my sofa!

very nice

although I see the 'more modern' rack has a bit of an 80s rock and metal twist to it too ;)
