When I'm using my midboost kit with the VHII's, for some reason they only measure 3-4k at the jack. I've taken it out now, because as much as I love the boosted sound, when the boost is off it kills the stock sound. The pickups become harsh and thin sounding.

is when I measure at my hum/single/parallel switch..ahh my bad...had vol turned down...when testing..*L*
