As for the pickup choice: The HD can do that if you want a more classic oriented prog metal sound, say early Dream Theater and the likes. Modern Dream Theater and say Opeth would be the ceramic Nailbomb. To go full modern, where I canīt really cite examples, the Juggernaut should do good work.
