Choosing Bridge Pickup

Hey I'm looking for a humbucker bridge thats capable of producing this type of sound. There's 4 clips I stitched together and there all done with the bridge. I feel like I bothered bare knuckle enough with pickup questions and figure maybe someone on here can help me.

What guitar (timbers) and amp?

Oops Mahogany Body, Rosewood Set-Neck, I play in standard tuning. Marshall EL34 Power Amp Rack, torpedo CAB, usally use custom impulses from various cabs.

Many options, depending on how you set your amp. A RiffRaff would work, but if you want a bit more power look at a VHII and (up) a Rebel Yell.

I feel that the Emerald could work here too.

I put one in my friend's Les Paul and it is very much in this ballpark.

Personally I would pick a Rebel Yell, which is a great rockpickup and a crossover between vintagehot and contemporary. It has that great rockedge.

Yeah, I am (probably) with the RY too. If this axe is something LP like at all it will probably rock your freaking world. The Emerald would be the more classic choice along the same path, but especially the last part makes me say RY. If your amp can keep up that one just works. LP-is (or at least mahagony heavy) axe plus a Marhsall type amp = love.

Donīt forget to let us know how you like it. And remember that the RY is extreeeemely height sensitive (all BKPs are, but this one takes the cake imho). So play around with that. It can change the sound quite radically.

Ben suggested a Riff Raff set, These sound pretty nice, but im thinking changing them for something a bit hotter. Which would you suggested from the hot vintage?

Did you order the Rebel Yell or are you still contemplating?

Rebel Yell will do it although the second clip had a lovely 'rasp' to it that is more reminiscent of my Abraxas bridge. I love my RY set which I've had for years but I'm still exploring the wonderfulness of the Abraxas.

You could go for a Emerald bridge with a Riff Raff neck.  That will give you the extra push in the bridge that you want.

Great idea if you want to persue that vintage hot area. However, donīt forget that the RY is not fully contemporary either. It is a modern take on a classic tone. Old school heart with modern cut if you will. So I still would not count it out. On the more vintage side, while having more power than the RR, the Emerald is a great choice though. Similar, but more classic on the scale. And if you want a more powerful, matching neck too go Holydiver combined with the EM bridge.
