Hey guys!
My question is pretty simple. I have a neckthrough mahogany guitar with a 28" scale rosewood board and I have the choice of grabbing an Abraxas set or a VHII set for it. I tune to Ab, sometimes lower.
I need it to cover jazzy cleans and I think both might deliver but I also need it for death metal sort of stuff. I am not aiming for modern metal djenty tight stuff, just need a full, chuncky and thick tone for heavy riffing and fast alternate picking.
Other recomendations are welcome, as usual in this forum. Already have a Black Dog set in another axe and I know it delivers in spades.
