Help with PU

I have a LES Paul Traditional that has 57 classic in it. It doesn't suit the sound for thrash and drop d and blues. I also play through a Laney Ironheart 120 with 6L6GC and Ecc83's tubes with a V30 4x12 straight cab. What would be a good pick up

Thrash and blues don't really go together that well ...

I would say though that your choices would be Cold Sweat, Nailbomb, or Miracle Man.  Any of those can definitely do thrash. It just depends on specifically what flavour you want and what else you want it to be able to do.  Out of those the alnico version of the Nailbomb could be the best for blues.  You might also want to consider the alnico version of the Warpig.

Out of those I suspect the Miracle Man would be best for thrash and drop D.
