I've wanted to try a Juggernaut (liked the description and soundbytes; still can't listen to Periphery) and bought one, but it didn't fit in my MusicMan Axis Super Sport: the pickup is too tall and overwound, so it sits way too high in the cavity and needed to be wiggled carefully in there.
I got a Strandberg Boden6 which came with EMGs and I'm going to passive-ify. I'm impatient and don't have any of my stuff with me right now (just moved to the US from EU) so I cannot check; the guitar is due a visit to the tech and I wanted to have them setup the guitar for passive electronics (requires a drilled hole between the bridge and electronics cavity).
Has anyone ever tried to fit a non-covered Juggernaut into a Boden6? There are dimensions for the Jugg on the website, but the covered version only. Mine is uncovered.
Current pickups are an EMG 57/66 set. From what I can tell, they're slightly bigger than a 'normal' humbucker, but not the Jugg.
