modify the arse off and generally mess about with.

you don't seem to see them that often,i think there is probably a reason ovation don't make electrics very often if you know what i mean :?

but the point is the amp i ordered got cancelled and i felt the need to purchase something that would provide more fun. :D

anyone got one of these?

oh i will. i plan on giving it the bk treatment at some point, although if you look at the pups, they are sunk into the body without surrounds and the humbucker is angled, a bit weird but hey.

time to experiment ( not with drugs you understand )  :P

Local store has exact same guitar in burst finish.
They are indeed kinda rare as my buddy (store owner) cannot find out much about it.
Sweet playing guitar though.
Have fun.

Be interesting to hrar about your new guitar, I see the guy has a Jackson for sale too comes complete with pointed headstock :)

He dosnt mention if the ovation is active or not, as all their earlier electrics where 18 volt beasties.

Their electrics where a bit ahead of their times in the 70s, theres one of these for sale in Denmark St which I would love to have the cash for http://www.guitargonauts.com/pick-15.html

I also missed a 12 string version of it on ebay last yearfor 250 quid :(
