Best BKP for IA (Freak Kitchen) rhythm tone?
« on: November 15, 2015, 01:09:01 PM »
Thinking about new pickups for a 7-string guitar, ash body, maple neck, rosewood board, fixed bridge, 25.5" scale length, played mainly through a Hughes and Kettner Tubemeister amp.
Looking to get close to the dry fat distorted rhythm tone that IA from Freak Kitchen gets. My initial thoughts is an Aftermath bridge as I had one a while ago in another guitar and know that its a very dry sound. Anyone else got any opinions?
Thanks in advance :)
