Author Topic: Can someone help me find a simple sequencer? (Read 3652 times)

I tried fruityloops, it scared me because of all the channels and midi instruments etc, then I remembered I found this easy to use one ages ago called DrumAtik. Heres a screenshot to show just how simple it is:

Basically (if you couldnt allready guess) you just click the little buttons and they light up meaning the sample is activated for that beat.. and you can import wav samples down the side. However its a bit limited, I cant seem to get any fast double bass style beats on it, and "only" goes to 200bpm.

I'd just like something like that, which like goes on forever if you know what I mean, so I could create a drum track for a whole song with that screen, as at the minute it just loops these 4 bars..

they might be more complicated than you need, but they are free, so give them a shot ;)

Thanks alot, I'll probably give em a go.. at the minute I'm just learning how to write stuff in guitar pro and its actually easy now dez has explained it to me :D

Tom have a go at Acid, thats a easy program to use.

If you tab the drums out in guitar pro, you can export them as a midi file and import that file into Reason to get realistic sounding drums.

Ooh thats cool, I dont have reason or a good midi sequencer though :lol: I want DFH Superior or something but I dont have the disk space yet
