A little help deciding bridge pickups

So as per usual I've pulled the trigger on a new guitar and it's another mustang... to be exact it's a Kurt cobain mustang so the plus side it has a tune-o-matic hardtail bridge, and the bridge is already routed for a humbucker.
The downside is it comes stock with a Duncan JB whilst I don't mind the JB I much prefer a P90 in this position as I find it pairs up a bit better with the single coil in the neck (and I oddly just prefer the tone I get from a p90), so my thoughts are to put in a 'bucker size p90 to save any further cutting but I'm torn between two...

I think it'll either be a Stockholm or a Supermassive 90 I want to keep the output level similar to that of the jb as I play mostly alternative/rock material.

can anyone recommend one of those two? or even possibly suggest another that may fit my requirements.

Between the two I will suggest the Supermassive. I would go as far as even suggesting the Mississippi Queen.

I had a Mississippi Queen overpowering a Black Dog before, so I can't see the single coil on the Mustang balancing with the Stockholm at all.

Even the Supermassive can be too much, but between the two that's my pick.

appreciate the input I was toying with the idea of the Mississippi queen for a bit (had one installed on my blacktop tele for a while) was very nice though I had it on the neck position so not sure how it performs in the bridge.

I know the supermassive will undoubtedly overpower the single coil but I'm just hoping to tame the bridge a little as with the Duncan JB in there at the moment I find there's a massive drop when I switch from bridge to the neck single, never been a fan of duncans either tried tons of them but never liked the tone.

How is the Black dog by the way? always been tempted to try one but not found a guitar to require it just yet.

If you have a decent tubeamp a Missisissippi Queen wil do, unless you want to slam the preamp. Then a Supermassive would be a good choice. The SM is probably a bit darker then the MQ, which could be a good thing in a Mustang.

My Mississippi Queen is also a neck pickup. The bridge should be even punchier due to a slighty hotter wind and AV magnet.

The Black Dog is great, on the right woods. I think it needs darker guitars. I rate it as the second brightest vintage-hot humbucker (brightest being the Emerald).

It has lots of low-mids but also highs, with smoother upper-mids and very tight bass. Sounds very good with clean and crunch buy really shines with high-gain and tuned down.

Still, the Mississippi Queen on the neck position had more output than it. Now I have the Mississippi Queen with an Abraxas and they balance better in output and tone.

Stockholm is lovely, but it is a massive sounding pickup and really hot! It's the pickup that feels the hottest by far out of all the BKP's I've got, and that includes a Painkiller which is pretty full-on!
It does still clean up nicely though so it's very versatile, but you might have to reduce the gain on some of your normal rock sounds so as not to get screaming feedback!! So you might be better with a lower output P90 if you want it to match well with other less hot guitars.

I have a Stockholm bridge in my SG Junior, it is bad azz.  Don't underestimate its output, I'd say it's equivalent to a Nailbomb.
