All the pickups you sum up are fantastic in a different way, but the 59 Slabboard, the 63 Veneer Board and the Mother's Milk are (closely) related. Blindfolded its hard to tell which is what. The Veneer Board has a bit more bass than the Slabboard and slightly less topend than the Mother's Milk. MM and Veneer Board are nearly twins to my ears.
The Irish Tours are hotter, grittier, with more bass, mids and less, but still a faire amount of treble. So classic single coilish. Turn the volumeknob a tad back and you are in Mother's Milk territory. The clean up fantastic. I can get a nice RHCP-tone out of them.
So if you have a rosewood fretboard with alder body Classic 60's my first choice would be for your style: Pat Pend 63 Veneer Board. If you desire a bit more oomph and meat in the tone: Irish Tours. They sing.
