« on: January 16, 2016, 01:10:48 AM »

Only had them about 24 hours......this is kind of sloppy and I couldn't use a tube amp because it would stress the neighbors.lol
Tried to kind of play the same thing in all postitions.......Hope you enjoy.....
Absolutely love these things.excellent!

Great recording! The 63's sound lovely. Genuine earlies sixties tone. I reckon if you use a tad more gain you can get that roaring SRV-tone.

Cheers

Thanks frank.....

I'm sure i could......i kind of went with the obvious for the demo but the other thing i am starting to notice is how many different tones are available depending on tone, volume, pick attack.....and playing at the brisge or neck......i love the way they sound but i like the way they "play" even better...

Yeah, BKP's renowned for dynamics and clarity. I have Mother's Milks and Irish Tours. Great pickups too, but that 63 set is on my list as soon I as I have an extra SSS-strat. Not the priority at the moment though.

Certainly some great snap and grit there. The great news is  that you'll get to love them more as time goes by. I have a set of Apaches that I've had for many years and I love them.

Excellent!  You should go for the 59's next!  My fav so far out of the 63, MM, and Apache.  Will Nail SRV and John Mayer tones and then some.
