That sounds great, I love the chiming tones from the Bogner pedals.  Must admit, the phasing/flanging works very well in that

Thanks! The phase is very intentional, though it might make the tone dated for some people; I need the extra thickness and width it provides, which is why I use it, but I have the knobs set down to minimum, so it's just churning away. :)

Great going Ben. Even with the limited qualities of my headphones, I could enjoy the tones.

Really ballsy crunch to the attack of the notes. Very much my cup of tea.

Thanks, gwEm! I was particularly interested in your opinion, I figured it would be right up your street!
Amp on the edge of breakup (that thick, not-really-clean clean tone) + Marshall-esque gain pedal (but not adding Marshall's patented fizz and upper mid spike) + late-breakup speaker = very cool, early 80s hard rock/metal tone. It reminds me a bit of Defenders era Judas Priest -- especially during the chuggy Judas Priest-y bit in the middle. :)

I may be making another video wherein I break it down and show how each part of the chain affects the others.

I really liked that. A lot of power but no mush/flub, but not harsh on the ear either. That's a great tone. It's also very interesting how clear everything is even through the phase. A lot of phased tones I've heard disappear into the mix at certain points in the sweep but yours is clear throughout. Lovely stuff. I thought a tiny bit Robin Trower-ish in the tone as well as the Judas Priest flavour your already mentioned too.
