NGD Jackson CS

Hey people,

My new Jackson Custom Select just arrived and it's the best guitar I've ever owned.

Specs are the same as a usual B7 (27" scale, ebony fretboard, alder wings, maple neck-through, maple cap) but there's a few small differences:
- finished in sonic blue
- BKP impulse H/S set
- Hipshot open gear grip lok tuners

I've also had it wired to my spec - dimarzio EP1111 3 way switch. Center position has the inner coil of the bridge and the neck which hum cancel. The coil split has a 510k resistor wired to ground so it doesn't sound bright and thin, it sounds as if it's wired to a 250k volume. There are two volume controls, a 280k for the neck and 550k for the bridge both wired independently (so if you use the center position and roll off the neck you'll hear only the bridge coil).

Tuned to F, A#, F, A#, D#, G, C with 12-82 kalium strings.

Seriously can't put this thing down. I own a few other B7's, which are awesome USA select models but this one is definitely a cut above. It sounds pure evil

It looks like it means business. Love the colour  Will check out that Dimarzio switch, it sounds interesting.

That looks pretty mean in a gentle way. Congrats!

Finally need to try that resistor to ground wiring for my splits and single coils...
