Thanks in advance for the help.
I have a PRS McCarty which I am putting a Mule and a Riff Raff in. Wiring Schematic 20 (attached) on the Bare Knuckle Support page is very similar to my setup, with the exceptions that I am not using a 3 way blade, but a 3 way right angle like that on a Gibson SG (see bottom part of second attachment), and the Tone pot I am going to use is one of the CTS DPDT push pulls (see image in attachment 3).
Here are my questions:
1) I can interpret the differences in terms of how to wire the pickup switch, with one exception. The Right angle switch diagram has a ground lug. In the BK diagram, I don't see a ground line from the 3 way blade switch. I'm assuming I would run a ground from the switch I am going to use to the top of the volume pot even though there is no ground in the BK diagram. Is this right?
2) The top of the DPDT tone pot is plastic on top, and it doesn't have that little tab on top to solder the bridge ground wire to as shown in the BK diagram. I'm assuming that it is unnecessary anyway because the tone pot is soldered to the top of the volume pot by two wires and the bridge ground is also soldered to the volume pot. Is this correct? Any issue with not soldering bridge ground to the tone pot? If I have to, any suggestions?
Thanks!!
