Constant user authentication?

Hi, I'm not sure if something is wrong with my account, but every single post I have to do authentication, five stages including a verification with coloured letters that I struggle to read (I'm dyslexic). I've never encountered this anywhere before.

This happens even on post edits.. so I just end up not posting sometimes.

Also, I can't see a button to enable email notifications for replies when I post?

Any help appreciated.

That authentication stuff was put in at one point because for some bloody reason there was quite an annoying and constant spam of people trying to sell us kitchens because god knows why.  I wonder where the cutoff for that is because I certainly donīt have it. If it is not at 5 Iīd guess 10 or something. Definetly once you become a Flyweight because then you can sell stuff here officially.

Shame that this has extra effect on you. If it is still there now maybe you could even just send a quick mail to BKP and ask if they can unlock you on the forum in that regard because of your condition.

On the notifications: When you view a thread in the top right part there is a notify button. That then should give you notifications according to the Account-settings / Modify Profile (top left-ish) / Notifications.

I will have a look into this for you as I can understand how annoying it must be! Hopefully we can come up with a simpler process for the authentication process.

I didn't realise it stops asking for authentication after a few posts; that sounds encouraging.
