Supermassive 90 in a LP Jr. DC
« on: August 20, 2016, 01:09:12 AM »
So here's a quick and dirty sound clip I recorded through my LP Jr build. It's actually the beginnings of a song I'm working on and I recorded this to share with my bandmate.
LP jr > Marshall Shredmaster Clone > VHT Special 44. Recorded through a Sennheiser e609 inno Garage Band. It's pretty stripped down and my playing gets a little sloppy in parts but it should get the idea across.
Not sure if Soundcloud files can be embedded so here's a direct link to the Soundcloud page:

And a gratuitous picture of the guitar in question.

Anyone who worries that a Supermassive will sound overly 'modern' should listen to this clip

Basically a classic P-90 sound with a tad more balls.  Stockholm is the same thing with as much more balls again.  They retain their P-90 voice, although maybe with a slightly toned toned-down top end and more bass

Absolutely agree. It's a great P90 on the hotter side, but sounds just like a P90 should nonetheless.

Great looking guitar and nice demo!

Thanks for sharing!

I think the SM is gonna be my next BKP. I need to track down a decent guitar to fit in it
