I have gone through three different bridge pickups over the last six months, and ever since I first decided to gut the stock seymour duncans in my ESP LTD Elite Horizon III (Maple Neck-through, alder body, maple top, ebony board, floyd rose), each bridge pickup (Guitarmory LTD Tsarbomba - Alnico 8, Avedissian Railsplitter - Ceramic 8, and the Miracle Man, in order) i have put in there has exhibited the same characteristic: it sounds thin and hollow, almost like an active single coil. Palm mutes have no definition or weight behind them, pick scr@pes lack harmonics.
I had opted for a 550k pot in the volume position and a 500k push push pot in the tone knob. My tech says he followed every step as far as the wiring diagram is concerned, and even tried wiring it a different way, which alleviated the issue only slightly (a little more bite). The tone is still "wrong". Could it be something to do with the push push knob? I just find it so odd that all three of the pickups would exhibit the same characteristics.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alec
