Neck Single Coil to match Juggs
« on: October 19, 2016, 10:36:33 PM »
Hi Guys,

I've just acquired a ltd SC-500 for an absolute steal (someones put EMGs in it) and I'm giving it a bit of an overhaul.

For those that don't know the sc-500 is the original Stephen Carpenter signature model and it has humbuckers in the Bridge and Middle and a single coil in the neck (on a slant).

Since it is a maple neck thru and alder wings I thought Juggs would be a good shout for the warmth and articulation but I really have no clue when it comes to single coils as this is the only single coil in my collection!

basically I'm after something that would balance well with the Neck Jugg being split and maybe mixed with the bridge Humbucker (still trying to work out the wiring on that one).

any ideas?

cheers...
