Hey guys, I'm planning to upgrade my PRS SE Custom 24 and Telecaster HH.

Both have 3-way switches and a push/pull for coil-split, which seemed cool at first.. but I'm finding the split-coils just sound a bit weak and the push/pull isn't particularly convenient.

I'd like more useful pickup combinations and have heard good things about bypassing the tone pot.

I've been consuming information and have distilled to the following specifications.

- 5-way super switch
- Bridge / Outside coils / Both / Inside Coils / Neck
- Push/Push tone pot, wired for tone-bypass

This seems a simple, intuitive and versatile setup, although I'm aware I'll have to flip the neck magnets.

- Where can I (in the UK) get a good push/push pot?
- Do push/push pots spin too easily, like the push/pull pots I have? This feels cheap.
- Does it really matter if I have 500k/550k/1 meg, given I'll be bypassing the tone pot?

Bonus points if anyone can tell me how to fit a superswitch into a Telecaster; or where to get a slimmer one than Fender's model!

I'm also thinking that I could put a push/push into the volume.. if anyone else has any extra ideas!
