Oooooooh Termi's... I bet they sound gorgeous...

Made the mistake of agreeing to push start a mate's TRX850 one time, he had straight through Arrows cans on...

When it fired up it nearly winded me... (I wasn't knackered from pushing this bike around Fort William college car park, honest!).

I'm a bike fan myself and have the Monster 620. I am looking for some pipes for it at the moment. I hear the Arrow ones have removable/replaceable baffles, hence less aggro with the police.

Nice 749 Twinfan, very nice.

Not been on one for many years, it put me off a bit  falling asleep (Twice) on the M1, Northbound, with my girlfriend on the back (also asleep) doing a round trip to Swindon after work, to drop off a box of springs as a favour, on my old FZ600  :oops:

Good to see some replies. :o

I only get to check this forum about 3 times a week so its good to see some bikers around here.

Myself I dont own anything at the moment.

I dont have to really. I'm a motorcycle salesman and as such part of my job is to keep the bikes running and report to the workshop any faults with the used bikes. Its good coz being one of the bigger dealers around I get to sample a lot of different makes and models.

I've had a few over the years.

Best part of a 350 mile round trip, after 8 hrs at work, 4 AM, long straight droning road, my eylids  touched twice and It was instantly "Oh Sh@$, get me off here", (next services about 5 cups of strong coffee), I was soooo lucky!
didn't do it again, although I got back about 6 AM, and started work again at 10! :oops:

I've had

GP125 !!

Gpz550 }
Cx500  }
VF750   } Despatch bikes that were worked to death!
NTV600 }

ZZR1100 (which got nicked from my back yard a month back)

The Z was bored out to around 1240cc and had 165bhp. I got it up to nearly 180mph on the M40 once! It had loads of low end grunt  and would wheel spin all the time.

I've had:

Yamaha SRX600 - Grey Import cafe racer style single based on the XT motor. Unfortunately it had a "period" kick start, it took about 5-10 mins from cold to start the bloody thing, and after it started, you'd be sat there for ages trying to get your breath back!

GSX-R750 (J - '88) Slingshot - Had it for about 4 years, with a nice quiet Yoshimura system :D. Had to ride it like a stroker with it being a short stroke motor, and soooo flickable. Great fun though.

Triumph Daytona 900 - Pre injection model, after the Gixer, it felt like riding a Transit Van (and with ear plugs in, it sounded like one!), bloody quick though thanks to it's over-engineered long stroke triple. Until I managed to bury it into the rear quarter of a late 80's (uninsured) Ford Granada who was broadside in the road, 100m after a bend. Ouch.
