Looking for a new delay pedal
« on: December 13, 2016, 10:10:20 AM »
Hey guys!!
I'm looking for a new delay pedal.
Recently I bought a new pedalswitcher from Joyo, which, to my surprise, works and sounds great!!!
The Joyo also supports MIDI, this means that there is the option of not having to change the settings on my delay pedal for every song.

I currently have the TC Flashback, and although it sounds great, I doesn't have any midi options.

The options I have in mind:
Flashback X4
Strymon Timeline
Source Audio Nemesis

All of them, as far as I can tell, support MIDI and allow for deep editing.

The delay sounds I mainly use are:
A lead delay, for solo's
A modulated delay for ambients
A tape delay for rythmic delay

Of the 3 I am now leaning towards the Source Audio, because of it's smaller size (my pedalboard is getting a little crowded at the moment)

What do you guys think? any experience with these pedals? or are there more options?

My rig now:
Mayones Setius (Jugg and Emerald)
Victory VX the Kraken
Joyo pedalswitcher (with midi out)

In front of the amp:
Mooer phaser
Lovepedal Kalamazoo
T-Rex mudhoney
TC Dreamscape

In the loop:
Xotic EP booster
TC Flashback
TC Hall of Fame
Digitech Polara reverb (for ambients)
