I have a terrible habit of buying cheap guitars and upgrading them to death, I will be ordering all the below parts from BKP site so want to check this will work before I pull the trigger
I have just brought an Squire Affinity Strat HH
What I want to do is far to complex for my simple skills and I can find wiring diagrams that close but not close enough for me to modify them
I want to try:
Blackhawks - coil split
1 Volume (BKP 500k pots)
1 Tone (BKP 500k pots - what cap do I need?)
1 Kill switch (in the third hold from the removed tone pot and linked to the volume pot not the input jack)
5 way super switch
> Bridge
> Bridge full and neck slug coil - is this possible?
> Bridge & neck humbucker full
> Neck slug coil
> Neck
Or are there better ideas?
