SS is a hugely underrated player. That dirty solo was lovely. It was a bit like Larry Carlton had just got real dirty.

both clean and dirty clips are awesome, I saw him playing live at SBSW in Austin. Texas 2005, he was the guitarist in Billy Idol's band. One of the best gigs I've ever been too, if not the best in my entire life.

I just gave a listen to th SS clips and now I am rethinkin the Warpig. I may have to go with a matched set of SS-RY; awsome sound.

Hey broken its me Jimi here from UGF.

I see your checking out the pups to find some for your project SG.

Thats pretty sweet.

I am looking for some to swap out my stock strat pups for.

I have been looking for some pickups to emulate those SRV and Rory Gallagher tones and so far I am definately leaning towards a set of Irish Tours.

I am just gonna see if I can get a request for a sound sample of that rory sound to validate my choice.

Good luck on your search Broken,

And I will see ya on UGF,

Hey hey hey. These pups are SWEET! I'm leaning towards th Warpigs but the RY sound good as well. I think your Strat can do well with the Irish Tours, I keep going back and forth but I will soon have to make a choice. I'm still on the UGF but I'm ov'er ere now too! Good to hear from you.

I've ordered a RY for my bridge based on SS's clips : both the distorted and clean sounds are amazing.  I am curious how the distorted will sound not multitracked ofcourse :D

I already thought SS's tone on the BLS cd's was absolutely great, but this clip even beats that, without the mastering.

Looking forward to trying this one out.  Thanks Tim and Steve.

Awsome the dirty solo sounds like it wants to rule the world!
While the clean solo sounds like it just wants a holidy with its grand children, -very peacful and nice.
Must make the best guitar ever!!

Dean Caddy, i'm really leaning towards the rebels yells. although i've got a few months before the guitar is ready.
