Could someone help me out with wiring a guitar for a 1 volume pot, 1 humbucker set up? I'm getting sound out of my guitar but all i get is quite a bit of buzzing and the sound is weak. I'm using a Dimarzio X2N by the way.

this might be the right diagram for you

HOWEVER, if you have a logarithmic/audio pot you have to swap left and middle pin on the poti.

Which type of poti are you using, 500 or 250 KOhm?

The buzzing/thin sound might come from a wrong wring, maybe you only hear one coil of the HB ...?

Yes - do check that you have the Dimarzio wiring scheme sussed as it is different to the BKP one

Red = hot wire to pot or switch
green = earth (along with bare wire) which are soldered to back of pot

white and black are soldered together and isolated (heatshrink or tape) - can be used as a coiltap to a switch to turn off one coil
