Humbucking a tele

It sounds really great but I've been playing a lot heavier music with my band. Have anyone here maybe done it before? It's made from ash. And if it's good idea can anyone recommend some good humbucker for it? We play something between old trash like slayer and  metalcoreike killswitch engage
