Cold Sweat vs Ceramic Nailbomb Bridge Pickups

I'm a big fan of the Cold Sweat Bridge ( I have 4) I emailed BKP and asked for something like the CS but with " a little more umph"
 They suggested a Nailbomd Ceramic , saying it was a Cold Sweat with "more winding's"
 What do you think of the Nailbomb Ceramic in comparison? Any and all thoughts and comments appreciated.

I would have thought the Miracle Man was closer to that description.

I haven't owned the ceramic version of the Nailbomb but the alnico version is very different from the Cold Sweat and Miracle Man.  I've used all three in the same guitar, an SG Standard.

The MM feels like a bigger, hotter version of the CS whereas the A-Bomb seemed to be completely different, very hairy and middy.  The ceramic version of the Nailbomb would be less middy but I can't see it being closer to the CS than the MM.

Had one for a few months and had to change it, couldn't stand it. Too trebblish, rhythms weren't as bad (you can get used to anything) but solos were terrible. Having a trebblish guitar with a very similar amp probably help. Not for me. Changed it for a Cpig and I'm much happier now.

C-Bomb would probably sound far better in a much darker guitar like an Explorer.

Yes, I guess the Cbomb is great with the opposite setup I have because it sounded terrible in mine. So... not good with longer scales, SS frets, standard tuning, 5150 type amps... Solos especially sounded shrill, bodyless. I've heard people happy with theirs but I could stand it after try as hard as I could

Still, I haven't heard many bad reviews of other BKP pickups as the impulses, painkillers or the warpigs for example, but the Cbomb is not for everybody, I've seen much more criticism, among some of my friends that had them too.

I have both in completely different (wood and construction) guitars although both darker sounding (one slightly darker though). As I was using Cbomb for years, recently when started using Coldsweat I came to conclusion that like Cold sweat better.
Cold sweat is brighter, much clearer sounding with more sensible manner. It's not as middy as Cbomb have to agree with that. It's definitely far way more versatile with better leads. Have to agree that leads are the weakest point when it comes to soloing. Cbomb is darker, middier  with more bottom end and pissed off attidute. Its hairy as many people said. It doesn't work in low tunings eh drop tuning, genraly speaking its not as precise as CS, doesn't handle fast complex riffs too. Its very limited pickup but shines in hard rock when you don't need precision and polite, polished sound.
Summing up both are more into Hard Rock theritory, non of them is typical metal pickup (like Miracle Man which is my favorite pickup-have 2 of them which one is MM set).
If you're in to hard heavy rock theritory and want pissed off wall of rock sound with modern attitude and don't play leads and don't play complex riffs go for CBomb otherwise CS hands down. Cbomb is specific. After trying other bridge models I love it and hate it at the same time.

I tend to agree with that. Miracle Man is an amazing pickup, I like it to that point that I have 2 of them :)
CBomb is specific pickup and shining in narrower applications it`s not really versatile in my opinion.

Well, dunno, the Cbomb was my first BKP and I bought it because I was adviced by the brand that if I wanted versatility, I should go for it. I wanted a versatile pickup able to do Opeth, Mastodon, bands with a lot of change in sound in the same song.

Well, replying to the last 3 or 4 posts, looks like a Cbomb 'isn't' what I'm looking for. Articulation on fast runs and mentioning the CS is better for leads ( and the Cbomb kinda 'hairy and all over the place'), well that kinda says it all ( also I just bought another Cold Sweat set last week, came in the post yesterday)
 That said, How does the Miracle Man compare to a CS bridge?  is the MM too Zack?

The Miracle Man has more lows and more output overall than the Cold Sweat.  I'm not sure if it has more highs; to me the two pickups seem about the same in that department.

In an SG it doesn't sound like Wylde.  In a Les Paul it might.  To me it was a very natural combination with the Cold Sweat neck and replaced the Cold Sweat bridge well.  In an SG it actually works a bit better with the CS neck than the CS bridge did as SGs tend to suffer from a thin bridge sound due to the pickup placement.  Installing the MM bridge enabled me to raise the CS neck a bit without losing a balanced middle position.

The MM is better for palm muting.  With regard to lead work I'd say they in the same ballpark.

The c-bomb is a great pickup in the right guitar
It sounded absolutely great in my Les Paul Custom plugged into an 84 JCM 2203, BUT I still liked the cold sweat better in the same guitar
They don't sound much alike, although they have very similar specs
The c-bomb does have more oomph, though
It's a very balanced pickup, perhaps the most balanced bkp I had, although it has a quite compressed tone for a bkp
The miracle man has a bit more bass and treble than both
It also has a more modern voicing than both
