BKP Trilogy Suite vs DiMarzio FS1
« on: May 10, 2018, 01:51:56 PM »
hello guys!

Is trilogy suite similar to dimarzio FS1 (not fast track)?

The output is very closer: Trilogy 12-15k and FS1 14k.

I'm thinking to replace my stock fender on my Fender Custom classic.

I have no clue, all I know is that the Trilogies are quite beefy. I would throw an email at the BKP-team.

I have tried both.

If you listen to the very first Yngwie stuff, from the Genesis album, it is the FS-1

I actually like both pickups alot. The BKP is a bit more "stratty" since it has more sparkle to it. Having said that I would only fit an FS-1 to a vintage instrument where it would be appropriate, or on a budget build. On a lovely new Fender I would go for the BKP.
