"Dani California" and "Give it away" at the end of the show, (they usually repeat it anyway), bloody brilliant.

Wasn't Flea's bass low in the mix? As our Johnny himself said, Flea is a bit of a bass legend, so they could at least have made sure we could hear him.

Personally I was listening to the guitar and thinking, "So that's how Mother's Milks sound." How sad!  :D

I saw that show last night.

Did anyone else seem to notice that John's pedalboard was almost as wide as the stage    8)

The bit that worried me is where all the Chillis pulled their tops off. I thought Four Poof and a Piano might take this as an invitation ...

At least it's not four puffs and a guitar - imagine if the guitarist had to lean over to adjust a footpedal setting...

Sorry! Lowering the tone!?!

Actually, four puffs and a guitar - is that "Queen"????

It was good, I think John needs to have words with the soundman though, I agree Flea wasn't prominent enough in the mix. Maybe they should make the soundmen listen to a record from the band before letting them mangle their live sound?

He has the same pedalboard, twice, for the different amps. But, yes, they are ridiculously large anyway.

I was really excited about the performance, but when it happened I was pretty unmoved. I thought the 'big rock and roll ending' was unnecessary. I guess I just miss Bloodsugar days; more sense of fun in the music and less of this contrived 'rock star' bull.
