If you are finding that the Cold Sweat is almost there I am wondering if you have given serious consideration to the VHII?
Yep, tried VH2s - they were kind of a step backward from the CS toward "traditional". My gut feeling is that Jugs will probably be a good fit, combining the properties of both Alnico and ceramic pickups.

I tend to agree.  If you like the CS and VHII but want more output and more modern sound the Juggs should be a good fit

Did you consider the Ragnarok too? I got the mids, the tightness, the clarity and the push. Even I like it, and I'm more a lower output alnico guy.
