I have an old (first series) Fender Blues Deville which is too loud to play in my gaff, a Session Rockette 30 and a Guitarport - I would say that the AD30VT stands up pretty well with the added Celestion - it lacks the digi sounds of the Line 6 (I like the Line 6 sounds, I might add) and has a good range.

It doesn't have the 'alive' character of the Fender or the spank of the Session but all amps are different and the Vox can go from a near enough Fender Twin sound to a Soldano sound in a flick of switch.  So, in terms of modelling, its not that bad.
BKPS: Milks, P90s, Apaches, Mississippi Queens, Mules, PG Blues, BG FP 50s, e.60s strat custom set

well, i tried a roland microcube yesterday, and while great for the price (£69!), i wouldn't take it over an engl screamer, whether at low or high volumes... (obviously assuming you have the cash in hand for a screamer, lol, don't go without food or something daft to get one, lol).

still haven't tried the valvetronixes... :(

HAHA!!!

guitarist eview the head/cab version recently, and i think it got 4 stars or something... although as everyone keeps saying now reviews should be taken lightly... but i mean, i liked the 50 watt, and what guitarist said seemed to match with what me and our drummers bro thought.... dunno, could be a serious option...

^yes, reviews are actually quite useful- but you have to know how to read them, as I've posted before. Also, if they point out a good or bad point, if gives you something to test when trying it out.

:D
