Hi,
I'm looking for a new set for this guitar. If you aren't familiar, it has an ash body, 12-piece neck, and maple fretboard.
It currently has the stock PAF7s which actually sound pretty good, but I want a bit more snarl and saturation as I'll be playing drop A. I currently have guitars with Juggernauts and Painkillers, which I like, just wondering what is best here and thinking about trying a new set. Currently eyeing Impulses and Ragnaroks, but I want to avoid too many clanky upper mids.
