Unconventional neck pickup NEED HELP!

Hello everyone! I am looking for some advice as to what neck pickup I should go for in my semi hollow baritone conversion warmoth guitar I’m building. My quandary lies in this: I like to play a lot of aggressive percussive rhythm on my neck pickup for the tonal qualities and was originally thinking I should go ceramic painkiller as to retain tightness and clarity as BKP staff had suggested it but I’ve come to realize I really like the Alnico warmth while playing rhythm on the neck.  I have considered putting a juggernaut bridge pick up in place of the neck as it seems that’s what I’m going for is an Alnico ceramic mix.  My questions are these:  has anyone ever put a juggernaut bridge in the neck? I would love to hear your experience if so. Also, is there another BKP that is made with Alnico/ceramic like the juggernaut but specifically made for the neck position?  I will be running coil splits on both pick ups as well. The Juggernaut bridge is the only hybrid A5/Ceramic pickup in the range.  Have you considered the Nailbomb neck?  That has more of a percussive aspect

I certainly have. But I don’t want to lose the warmth given by an Alnico.  One of the problems is I live in an area where it’s impossible to actually try out BKP myself since NONE of our sub par music shops have a single guitar with any of them :/

I forgot that they made an Alnico version as well.. I’m not sure it high output enough for my needs though. Essentially I’m looking for rich and lush harmonics but to really have more attack and clarity when I dig in. Very hard to know which direction o should go without being able to try something first. I suppose I will search the forums for posts about using the bridge pickup in the neck position.

In the BKP range the neck and bridge pickups are generally completely different.

When there is an option for an Alnico V magnet or a ceramic magnet in the bridge position only the magnet changes, not the winding.

The only neck pickup with a ceramic magnet in the range is the Painkiller neck.

The only bridge pickup with alnico and ceramic magnets in the same pickup is the Juggernaut bridge.  All of the EQ charts on the site are bridge only.  The neck is often very different.  The videos usually have some neck pickup in them but it's mostly bridge

So, the ceramic and alnico versions of the bridge Nailbomb are the same except for the magnet.  The neck Nailbomb is alnico but it is a completely different pickup.

Personally I think the Juggernaut bridge is very high output for the neck position and you might have problems balancing it with whatever you put in the bridge position.

This sounds like a rebel yell neck pickup.

The juggernaut bridge is dark and very powerful in the low mids.  It is designed to sit in the bridge position in really bright guitars and it sounds amazing for this application.
