Abraxas bridge on 7 string

Someone has ever tried an abraxas bridge on a seven string? It is sufficiently tight? Now I have a juggernaut but I would like a more vintage pickup, more suitable for rock

If you want a tight low end I would go for a Black Dog.

I’ve only played them on a 6 string, but I played a Juggernaut back to back with an Abraxas. The Juggernaut is way tighter. I don’t think the Abraxas will be tight enough to handle the low B of a 7 string. I think the Black Dog suggestion is probably a good one (never played on). I also have compared an Emerald back to back with a Juggernaut and it could be a good choice too. It’s more vintage voiced with less bottom end and less pick attack. It is plenty tight.

The Black Dog has modern polysol wire which gives it more grind and output than say a Mule.

From the BKP-site:

,,The Black Dog humbuckers are also particularly good at providing extra definition and punch to extended scale guitars. Seven string and baritone guitars benefit from better control of the highs and increased definition in the bass.''
