I always think Abraxas when I hear PRS!  But +1 on the Crawlers, which are Abraxas-like, but with a bit more grunt.

That said, I find the idea of a MM-loaded PRS strangely appealing -- though that won't give you a terribly open sound!  The Mule/MQ is also probably solid advice, but you could also go very open and stick a Stormy Monday in the bridge; I can kinda see a Stormy Monday set working here. :)

I have a set of Crawlers in my Custom 22 and they certainly are a notch up on the stock pickups. There is (as with all BKP) a noticable and grin inducing improvement in the bottom end and the overall clarity compared with the standard pickups is a huge improvement.

i'd be tempted to say VHII's they sound huge! actually sound like they're filling out more space than is possible, but are so articulate and clear.

Massive clean over drive, great for a PRS i'd guess.
