Anyone tried Juggernaut as a coil split?
« on: January 15, 2020, 02:31:25 PM »
Got given a guitar by a mate over Christmas, made a nice little present! Its a Ltd EC-50 and I'm going to do it up. Usual drop tuning thick strings setup.

Thinking of putting Juggernauts in there but have the bridge as a coil split so it isn't as ballsy when playing on overdrive particularly with other guitarists in band situations.

Anyone got or tried this configuration? What's it like? Is it actually any noticeable the difference between full humbucker and single coil?

I have them and have coil split system... but don't understand... you mean you have to stay split coil all the time?

Not all the time just playing around a few bands and one already has two guitarists so I thought I’d like the option to coil split and have a more bitey sound then when I play as a two in another band full humbucker.
