Ticket Prices Prt 2

We had a discussion a while back about ticket prices, some forum bros thought that £40 a ticket was a steep price to pay well try this one then.

I`m an Arsenal Supporter, [ Yes i`ve heard all the jokes !! ] i`ve been trying to find tickets for the European cup final in Paris. There are plenty available you no why because the cheapest tickets are for the corners of the stadium, some have restricted veiws they are £875 sterling !! if you want to be in the "Arsenal End" those will cost £950 & if you want to sit along the sides then those are £1,290 !!!!! for the American forum bros double the amounts to get what the tickets cost in US dollars !!

Oh & Euro star & Easy jet have all raised there prices to Paris for the day........By 10 times there normal rate !!!!!! Easy jet will charge £50 to get to paris normaly for the final it`s going to cost £500 return flight !!!! Do the math inorder to get to & watch the final it`ll cost around £1700 & once you include food, programmes, beer etc your belucky to have any change at all out of £2000.........It`s cheaper to by a PRS !!!

PS  makes £40 for a ticket to a gig seem like a bargain.......

At least i`ll be able to play my guitar whilst watching  :D

If we loose it`ll be a slow bluesy type thing  :lol:

Hey JT, that sucks mate. I'll speak to a friend of mine who's living out in Paris - see what the situation is out there, because I'm sure a large percentage of the tickets just go on sale to the general public.

The World Cup is even worse, read a feature on the ticketing scam the other week.

Still, if you find Champions League finals a hassle you could always come support my team (Tranmere) - we'll probably be getting relegated this weekend...no costly cup finals for me!

But, seriously, congratulations on the other night - something about those Germans and the penalties, eh?! :D

The greed of it all. £500 for a return to Paris is taking the piss as well as the match tickets. It all comes down to the fact that lots of people with money who don't even follow football will turn up at these big finals. Middlesborough only got allocated was it 5000 tickets for their final? So who gets the rest of them? Fatcats!
