Broken Leg Blues..

Thanks again guys!

I've been a little absent from the board preparing for this interview, so I haven't replied sooner.

I didn't get it which is an absolute bitch! The job was for the radio station Planet Rock. I was very well prepared and had what I thought was a very solid marketing plan for them.

But by all accounts... Somebody else came in and promised the moon and stars... I have my doubts about such overly ambitious plans as I know what it takes to deliver even the small increments… We shall see… Great radio station, good guys and I wish them luck.

Bummer..

Petre, all the best with that knee. Just the thought of chipped knee-caps makes me shake…

Well I’m gonna be posting to my limit to entertain and inform when I have something to offer…

We all have to do our bit to make up for the loss of Sambo…

^ Planet Rock! Man you must feel lousy after that. I'd be gutted too. Their a cool radio station. They must be mad to turn you down! Well all I can say is best of luck with the next job application. Best of luck Dave!

For all you buggers who get a kick out of misfortune - I had another fall last week and I've been on crutches ever since - I might have broken the same damn leg I broke in early spring!

This time though it happened in a strange house at 5 am with a girl who I'd met that night, made fast friends with and kinda got to know a little better...

Went to the bathroom and missed a step... BANG

I've skipped over some of these "details" when explaining the injury to my current girlfriend....

I haven't been back to the fracture clinic as I couldn't face it again so soon.

It feels a little better today and I can walk with heavy strapping so with a bit of luck it is just a very serious sprain.

I can't seem to be able to get away with anything without Karma catching up with me.

Whyb Dave you sly old Dog. I do hope you haven't broken it again-Mrs 38th says that youu should get it checked and it is a sprain then homeopathic Ruta Grav is good. If a break then you can speed up the healing process by using Comfrey. She likes your avatar btw.

My my, this was a thread I thought we'd seen the back of - but unfortunately not...Now, some might say it serves you right for cheating on your girlfriend Mr Dave, but I'm not one of those people

Hopefully it's just a sprain because it would be very unfortunate to break your leg twice in the space of however long it's been since you last broke your leg...

It's quite lucky that Mrs 38th is on hand to help out with remedys though, as otherwise you could suffer even more :drink:

I know I sort of deserved it but I never get away with anything unscathed...

Mrs 38th is an angel of mercy - pass on my thanks for not just laughing and saying serves him right.

I highly reccomend going to the doctors and getting some Tramadol for the pain.  It's also a kick arse acompliment to Stella  :crazy2:

Good luck dude.  I spent over 2 months on crutches once and it really does suck arse.  This is what happened to one of my mates after 6 months on crutches.  Think yourself lucky, my girlfriend had to eat her dinner next to this.

Advice worth what you just paid for it.

Dave you big slag!   I hope you haven't broken your leg again as that's just not funny. I agree with Mrs 38th, you need to get your leg checked out.
