Hooray! Those of you who were enticed by Reading may have learnt yesterday of some of the new additions to the roster. One of them being the Californian beauties themselves! Well now I'm glad I bought my ticket at vast expense.

Still, I'd pay a lot to see them on their own, let alone with 2 and half days of other festivities. Anyone else going?

im a download festival man myself, and slayer are on the unholy alliance tour with Lamb of God and Children of Bodom atthe same time as download...

Damn right! Well, they were in their prime. Although I'm still partial to Kerry King's slaphead/beard combo - he pulls it off  :)

Well it just so happens that I'm a fan of the old-school Beatie Boys tracks, so it was fine by me... :lol:

oh yeah, I love the Beasties. I just thought it was an odd mix of musicians - I couldn't believe my friend when he told me that solo was courtesy of Kerry King :D

PRML SCRM are a top band too, I've seen them a few times and they're always kicking out a good noise  :D

The Brixton Academy gig on the Externinator tour was the best, they opened with Accelerator & it was just mayhem from then on in (heh).  BRMC opened and they were very good too.
