Strat pickups suggestions

Newly acquired fender player stratocaster. I own another strat with 63 veneers in the neck and middle (vhii in the bridge).

Looking for the tones of the usual suspects. Knopfler, Jeff Beck, Clapton, Blackmore and Gilmour.

I love the 63 veneers. Just want classic strat tone with a bit of heat. Irish tours seemed like an obvious choice to me, but I'm open to suggestions if you guys think a lower output pickup would do.

As an aside, anyone tried the virtual vintage heavy blues 2 from dimarzio? Loved the heat that brought in the bridge position. Was wondering if there was a bareknuckle equivalent.

Those five is quite a stretch. By example Knopfler = Sultans and Clapton = Slowhands.
BKP has no AII single coil with the dc-resistance like the Dimarzio. The only option would be the Old Guard strat bridge, which comes close. Otherwise: True Grit, Irish Tour and Slowhand will beef up the bridge. Order a baseplate to it for a bit more balls.

True Grit seems by far the hottest of the three. The Irish Tour has a slightly V-shaped eq, where the Slowhand is all about mids and tamed highs. The True Grit has quite some mids too yet more topend. On paper, never played that one. You can mail the BKP-team for further details.

Appreciated, mate. I'll shoot them a message. Not sure the mid emphasis on the slow hands is for me, so Irish tour sounds preferable. I'll scout out some more details on true grit. Cheers.
