did this order come correctly? The Mule

Hi guys

after reading the feedback here, I finally put an order on my 3rd pickup set, which is The Mule for my LP
However, I'm wondering if my order was fulfilled correctly.

Usually, pickup screws are apart from each other, like so:





my pattern looks (top to bottom)

• screw - bolt
• screw - bolt

Notice that both screws are facing "up", so they are not as far apart like the example above



while the color looks correct, shouldn't it be

• screw - bolt
•   bolt - screw

??

I think that the white part of the pickup should face towards the neck in the case of the neck pickup and towards the bridge in the case of the bridge pickup, i.e., you have white at the outer layer and black at the inner one. Then, the pattern is screw-bolt-bolt-screw.

Looks good.  Screws go to the outside, that is, next to the bridge and neck.  White is on the outside on both, which is standard from what I've seen.

I think what's confusing you is that some pickups have different baseplates for bridge and neck.  BKPs don't, so one of the pickups always looks upside down from the back

Both slug coils are black, that is correct

I heard back from BKP. The poles are apart and my order came wrong. It was supposed to be reverse zebra but came regular zebra

The difference between zebra and reverse zebra is that on reverse zebra the slug coils are white and the screw coils are black.  The slug coils still face one another.  With reverse zebra white is on the inside and black faces the bridge and neck
