Polymath in Semi Hollow?
« on: October 31, 2021, 07:10:44 PM »
I have wanted to find the perfect pickup for my 1994 Epiphone Sheraton for a while now, I use it mainly in heavier music and at the moment as low as Drop A#. Since the polymath has dropped I have seen it has been recommended for semi-hollow bodies and wondered what the characteristics of it in a guitar such as mine might sound like?

Kind of wanted something a little hotter than a typical PAF with great feel and control my low end a little bit whilst still retaining that 3D "Largeness" that i find hollow bodies do really well, would the Polymath be a good fit?

I think I'd pick a rebel yell instead
