Mixing Pups

Help!
OK, help me get this done so can order and play :)

Will mixing pickups be a huge problem?

Specifically a Warpig for bridge and Holy Diver for neck.

I am totally trusting Tim that the Holy Diver is for me but love all y'alls clips of the Warpig in the players section.

NO pickup can do everything (not even Tim's :( ). So will this combo work y'think, being as they are quite apart ohm wise.

That depends what you want from the bridge pup and neck pup.

I choose to mix pickups, Nailbomb bridge and Mule Neck.
The pickups are great for what I want them to do. Great metal tone form the Nailbomb, and a sweet-sounding overdriven neck pickup that handles cleans above anything else ive tried.

The only problem though, is when I use both pups at the same time. They dont match, at all, really. Im not disappointed with my choise, but will go for a calbrated set, so I can get a better pickup configuration.

You could get the two different pickups and have them calibrated, as far as I know. I often have had weird mixes of pickups in my guitars and never had a problem with them.  Guess it depends on what you're after.

Guess I want to do what Tim suggests as he is so intuative, but would like the option of melting face with a Warpig.
However, much can be done with an amp and calibrated is def. the way to go.
Decision and order will be made in two days when funds appear :)

You can mix pickups, but we advise going for a calibrated set. Mixing pickups can give you some interesting results, A warpig bridge and Holydiver neck for example, I think would work really well.
