Adding SSL-5 to Apache neck and middle

Hi All
New to the forum.
I've just picked up a black strat in the Gilmour style but it currently has a set of Apaches in the the guitar. Whilst they do sound nice there isn't enough power in the bridge. I was originally considering replacing all of the pickups for either fat50/cs69/ssl-5 or ssl1/ssl1/ssl5 but I'm now wondering if I should keep the Apaches in the neck and middle and simply change the bridge. Is it ok for me just to change the bridge to the SSL-5? Anything I need to look out for? The ssl5 hits Gilmours tone perfectly and is what he specifies on his Cusom Shop guitars and effectively had in his own.
Any other suggestions welcome.
Regards
Mark

I haven't played the Apaches but there's nothing wrong with the SSL-5 in my opinion. I say go for it, just bear in mind that the wire color codes will be different than what are in there so double check them.
