New gear day, Fralin Hum Cancelling P90.

In an attempt to be succinct... I really, really enjoy this pickup.  Is it going to fool all the single coil purists?  Nope, but it will get you about 85% of the way there (to my ears anyway).  Great immediacy in the attack and single notes sing all over the fretboard.  I prefer to use pure nickel wrapped strings with mine (lends a bit more of a vintage vibe while knocking the output down a touch).  I have the 'standard' output bridge model, but Fralin will wind it lower or higher output if that's your preference.  To sum this all up, it's a sound/voice I sincerely wish I'd tried a long time ago.

Congrats!  My limited experience with Fralins has been positive.

What is the guitar it’s in?

Do you have the regular P90 or the Alnico P90? The Alnico P90 (the one with the alnico rods) is particularly nice.

It occurred to me this morning that I completely forgot I posted this lol.  To answer your questions, it's an alder bodied, all maple necked parts caster from Warmoth.  It's the steel poles version and it's just the Fralin in the bridge running through a 500k pot' then the output jack.  Gloriously simple and twangy.  I wanted something a bit different than my normal preference of dual humbucker guitars.  Sorry for the terrible delay.
