Advice for first time 7-string owner

Hey all,

I recently acquired a Balaguer Diablo Baritone 7 string and I'm looking for some direction on pickups. My main 6 string has the Fishman Classic set, but it's not the tone I want for the 7 and I'm not a huge fan of how the moderns sound. I'm looking for that tight super clear mid-focused sound with high gain (my amp is an EVH 5150 el34) but I want it to clean up well especially with split tones. I'm pretty intrigued by the Misha Mansoor sets, particularly the Ragnarok, but I'm worried the guitar's mahogany body will be too dark. Here are the full specs:

27" Scale
Hardtail bridge
Mahogany body w/ Flame Maple veneer
Bolt-on Roasted Maple Neck w/ Ebony fretboard

Any guidance on this would be sincerely appreciated. I've never owned a 7-string and I'm primarily using this thing to goof around playing Knocked Loose riffs and also to inspire some writing for ambient/pop stuff and heavier music. I already emailed the BKP team but I'm curious what the community thinks.

I wouldn't personally worry about the body wood being an overbearing factor; certainly every part of the guitar has its part to play in the tone, but the body wood is going to have far less impact when compared to the scale length, for example and your 27" guitar should be plenty bright a zingy! I would definitely lean towards the fuller tone of the Ragnarok in that guitar vs the more notched character of the Juggernaut
