Good Left-handed Volume pots for bare knuckle nailbombs.
« on: March 01, 2024, 03:02:46 PM »

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help me or give me some useful advice? I’ve been using the Nailbombs for almost ten years now and they are great pickups, however I’ve always had a problem with the volume pots. Whenever I turn the pots off they never go off, they make a lot of dirty static noise even when I’ve got my hand on the neck and I have to turn the pot up/on a little bit to actually get the output to zero. Before you ask yes, I’ve tried cleaning the pots hahah. As a lefty I’m always changing and up grading parts so any advice or recommendations Will be put into effect.

Kind regards.
J.

If your pots will not go all the way to true zero, I would suggest checking the ground connections throughout the guitar. Volume pots rely on a secure ground connection to be able to fully kill the signal.
